I'm David, an operations and business leader based in Dubai.

For eleven years I've worked at the seams of complex systems: localisation and QA on pre-release software at Apple, Google's business accounts through Voxpro, an NGO consultancy with the Asian Development Bank in Manila, payroll and HR operations for 400+ staff at Shell Philippines, and the operation at Flexibits through its scale from ten people to twenty-two, where I also opened the Brazilian and Portuguese-speaking markets. Most recently I led POLIS, a publicly tendered e-government platform, to 94% adoption across four government departments, alongside a €20M+ infrastructure program.

The through-line is simple enough: take something ambiguous, work out where the friction actually sits, and rebuild it so it needs fewer people rather than more. Sometimes that's a support queue, sometimes a citizen service that used to take eleven days, sometimes a market a product had never sold into.

On the side, I build. Bridge Bank and Klartion are two bootstrapped fintech products on open banking, with paying customers across Europe and North America. North & Hayes is a managed executive-support service built for the UAE, Singapore, Australian and US markets. All three run with AI as the operating engine, and all three were built alongside a full-time job.
